Raising a girl is harder than a boy in many ways than one.
We speak out, then are deemed wild and dangerous thinkers.
We stay quiet, and we don’t care about what is happening.
We do anything and the world wants the opposite.
Trying to live the life of a woman today or in the past is hard. We are fighting for what men have been given easily. We are making things hard to ignore now. There is more support for us but also more abuse, once again we are standing together to have our voices heard. With the advancements we have today it has been easier for awareness and action to be taken place than in the past. We have social media, which well it can make the situation worse, in the fight for women it has helped.
A law in Texas was recently passed at stopped all abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. In those first six weeks most, if not damned, all pregnancies are not even known; it is too early to tell. The legislature is imposing on what we are allowed to do with our body, which no one and nothing should be able to do for it is yourself and no one can control what you do. Though this law has only just been passed we, as a group of women, are fighting with all that we have to do what we can against the situation. Women have been continuously told what we can and cannot do, but we will not go down without a fight as we take back what should have been given to us in the first place.
